Mission
Development and implementation of high quality, complementary, deficient, European-oriented, applied, and competitive programs, which are primarily needed to support the economies of Serbia and the countries of the region. The mission of this institution is for students to master professional (vocational) skills above all else, but pedagogical-educational and research activities as well, and further to support the community as a center for encouraging the development and acquisition of knowledge in various disciplines. ICEPS permanently cooperates with relevant universities from the region and other European countries with the intention of constantly acquiring new skills and knowledge. Thus, this higher education institution contributes to economic and cultural development and value shaping on the basis of interdisciplinarity and transnationality.
Vision
To become a seat of higher education, especially as a center for professional (vocational) skills studies but also research that will creatively solve technological, health, sociological, ecological, cultural, and intercultural challenges of Southeast and Central Europe, especially the Danube region and the Balkans, through applied and strategic development. As an open academic community, together with its partners, it will strive to offer skills experts, as well as projects for technological and sustainable development and survival of the regional intercultural, sociological, health, and environmental balance.
Goals
They arise from basic tasks, and must be realistic, specific, achievable and measurable. The first, short-term goal of ICEPS is for its students to acquire the necessary knowledge in appropriate skills and to be able to apply that knowledge in a real-world environment. In addition to skills and knowledge, students should acquire the ability to think and reason critically in certain real situations through undergraduate and specialist studies. The long-term goal of ICEPS is to train students to work independently in appropriate jobs, depending on the type of study.
Development Strategy
The activity is based on the strategic directions:
- development of study programs that educate for applied and promising professions,
- development of comprehensive professional and scientific disciplines on which study programs are based,
- performing applied research activities and sharing achievements with the environment,
- cooperation with economic, health, educational, and cultural institutions,
- performing professional development and advisory work,
- establishing international connections with educational and research institutions.
