What will you learn?

During your studies, you will learn how to assist patients and provide appropriate physical therapy, various techniques of general physical therapy, rehabilitation, kinesitherapy, the basics of occupational therapy and integrative medicine, how to select the appropriate physiotherapy method, maintain medical documentation in the field of physiotherapy, and provide support to patients and their families.

Where is the practical training carried out?

At the beginning of your studies, you will attend laboratory-based practical training at the School’s premises. In specially equipped laboratories, through medical simulation methods (using medical mannequins), you will learn the fundamentals of physical therapy. After completing this training, you will be prepared for practical training in healthcare institutions – our teaching bases – where experienced mentors will train you in a real clinical environment involving patients with various health conditions. ICEPS successfully cooperates with more than 100 reputable healthcare institutions across Serbia.

Career Opportunities

After completing the Bachelor of Applied Studies in Physiotherapy program, you will be trained and prepared to work in healthcare institutions as a physiotherapist. Your role will include providing therapy to patients after injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, helping them regain functionality and independence. You will also have an educational role by providing advice on exercise and active lifestyles.

As a Bachelor (Appl.) in Physiotherapy, you will be able to work in primary healthcare centers, general and specialized hospitals, clinics, specialist practices, gerontology centers, counseling centers, sports organizations, spas, rehabilitation and climatic health resorts, and other healthcare institutions.
