What will you learn?

During your studies, you will learn how to provide adequate patient care, recognize the basic symptoms and signs of disease, prepare patients for various diagnostic procedures, maintain medical documentation within the scope of nursing care, administer and distribute medications, provide information on disease prevention, and offer support to patients and their families.

Where is the practical training carried out?

At the beginning of your studies, you will attend laboratory-based practical training at the School’s premises. In specially equipped nursing laboratories, through medical simulation methods (using medical mannequins), you will learn the basic nursing procedures. After completing this training, you will be prepared for practical training in healthcare institutions, our teaching bases, where experienced mentors will train you in a real clinical environment involving patients with various health conditions. ICEPS successfully cooperates with more than 100 reputable healthcare institutions across Serbia.

Career Opportunities

After completing the Bachelor of Applied Studies in Nursing program, you will be trained and prepared to work as a nurse in healthcare institutions. Your role will include assessing patients’ conditions, carrying out therapeutic procedures, administering medications, as well as providing support and education to both patients and their families.

As Bachelor (Appl.) in Nursing, you will be able to work in primary healthcare centers, general and specialized hospitals, clinics, specialist practices, gerontology centers, counseling centers, health promotion organizations, spas and rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare institutions.
