As part of the Erasmus+ student mobility program for studies, our second-year student of the Nursing study program, Ljuljeta Krueziju, completed her student mobility at the Technical College in Bjelovar, Croatia, from October 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

Ljuljeta evaluates her mobility experience as exceptionally positive and emphasizes that she would wholeheartedly recommend the Erazmus+ mobility to other students. Her stay abroad significantly contributed to both her personal and professional development, as well as to strengthening her self-confidence.

Quality of Teaching and Academic Support

The student expressed great satisfaction with the quality of teaching in Bjelovar, particularly highlighting the high-quality course content, modern teaching methods, and the strong level of academic support throughout the learning process. This exchange enhanced her professional competencies in her field of study, helped develop specific skills, and improved her ability to plan and organize her responsibilities. All planned academic outcomes were successfully achieved (ECTS credits earned during the mobility were fully recognized), confirming the high quality of both the preparation and implementation of the mobility.

Linguistic and Intercultural Experience

The primary language of instruction was Croatian. Adapting to the new environment proceeded without major challenges, as cultural similarities facilitated easier integration and prevented any significant culture shock.

In her free time, she participated in local events, including the Christmas Advent in Bjelovar, as well as a visit to Zagreb. She took part in activities both independently and with fellow students, further enriching her intercultural experience. She particularly emphasizes that she felt accepted and treated equally alongside local students.

Personal and Professional Development

Ljuljeta points out that she now has a clearer understanding of her professional goals and can more easily envision working in an international environment, as well as potentially working abroad in the future. According to her, the student exchange has increased her employability and contributed to her professional maturity.

A Message to Future Students

Based on her own experience, Ljuljeta encourages students to be courageous and apply for Erasmus+ calls. She advises them to be prepared for the personal challenge of being away from home, but also to make the most of the opportunity to explore a new environment and actively participate in local activities.

As she emphasizes, the Erasmus+ mobility represents a valuable experience that fosters independence, broadens perspectives, and contributes to professional growth.

We thank Ljuljeta for sharing her positive mobility experience. We will continue to be strongly committed to internationalization and to providing opportunities that enable students to develop competencies for work in a modern, international environment.
